V18 Update 1 Beta 2: Now with Yealink Headset Integrations

Hi Constantinos, as we did the update of the server to 18.0 (Build 302) preparing the final upgarde. I tried to replace into the directory electron->windows-> the news 3 items v18.7.7 with 3CXDesktopApp-18.5.28.msi;3CXDesktopApp-18.5.28-full.nupkg; version.xml and reload the server however the link from the app doesn't work it goes to https://xxxxxx.3cx.ch/webclient/api/app/windows and nothing downloaded. Did I miss something? Actually we have a customers with 3CX v 18.0.237 and app windows 18.5.28 working well no complain since a month. for others where we did update to 18.0 (Build 302) I don't want to rollback the server to 18.0.237.
Any idea?

Maybe rename the files to the new version name. I think the server tries to find the new name not the old.

Hello,

May I know when will be the production release of V18 will be available?
Because I can not take the risk to install beta.

Should I guess your 3CX V16 is installed on a Windows Server?

If I am right, this is because on Windows, you can't upgrade from V16 to V18 due to some limitations that the Windows OS has. For upgrade instructions, please check our Doc here:

Hmmm the message I got from them a 1.5 months back was "I chekced with our PM team and they told me that we are doing dial pad integration with 3CX now, the expected release time is Q4 2021."

Hopefully it doesn't keep getting pushed back. The more messages to them from customers, the better.

When will you be able to see the caller information (name / number) on the display of the Yealink Wh66?
Or transfer calls via the display?

This is something that Yealink team should deliver to us in order to be supported. We are expecting to have something from them, with the new year.

Looks like this is kind of working now.
I can call from just using the WH66 but it wont show any contacts etc.

When I dial from there, it uses 3cx on my desktop to call.
I can also answer calls from it but the contact just appears as PC Softphone.

Still looking like promising progress so far!

Can i ask how you got that working...Im on V18 build 2, apps are up to date and got the latest firmware on my WH66, i still can't dial out from the device screen

I didnt actually select any settings for this. I just have both my Wh66 up to date with the 3cx windows app up to date.
Upon connecting the USB to the PC it just says connected devices (PC Softphone)
 
Hello @amayer54 ,

Calling out from WH series headsets will not be support at this stage. It was supported at some point but due to changes in the integration to support calling out priority in conjunction with MS Teams, this functionality is not supported.

This is something that Yealink team is aware of and they are planning to work on it to support it.
