Manage Permissions Across Your Devices
3CX uses the browser permission model whether a user works in a browser tab or an installed PWA window. How these permissions are managed depends on the operating system and browser in use:
- Windows: Manage Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome through Intune Settings Catalog or Group Policy.
- macOS: Configure Microsoft Edge with Intune, and Google Chrome through MDM or Chrome Enterprise.
- ChromeOS: Apply settings through the Google Admin console to managed users, browsers and Chromebooks.
The policies use the exact HTTPS origin URL of the 3CX system, allowing administrators to apply the required permissions centrally rather than configuring each device individually.
