We’ve revamped our Android App’s UI! This Beta release brings modernized elements, an enhanced user experience, as well as tweaks to make the screen more intuitive and functional.
Always there: Avatars & Status indicators
Screen views have been updated to always show the avatar and profile indicator. Ideal for faster interaction to chat or call. You can now quickly recognize your team members and see who’s away or not to be disturbed!
Also available on group chats, participant group members are now listed together with their respective avatars. Clicking on a participant will immediately open up the member’s contact card.
New look contact card
We’ve separated the primary buttons for extension, mobile numbers, and email addresses. It’s now also possible to edit personal or company contact information from a quick edit action button within the contact card.
Upgrade your PBX to v18 by 1st May 2022
3CX V18 has been out for a while, offering a better mobile experience in terms of audio, reconnection functionality, and reliable call notifications. After 1st May 2022, the 3CX Android App will no longer connect to Version 16 instances. Upgrade your PBX today to the latest version.

- Added Schedule Meeting button for group chats which opens the meeting scheduler and pre-populates participants automatically
