Our latest Beta for the 3CX Android App is now available to download and test. Connections to 3CX on version 16 will no longer be possible. A new notification will alert you to upgrade when trying to connect to a version 16 instance. The Beta also paves the way for messaging improvements coming in V18 Update 5.
No turning back! It’s time for V18
3CX version 18 has been out for over a year and is already nearing the full release of its 5th update. As already reported way back in May 2022, upgrading to version 18 is essential to get your mobile apps working. By upgrading you will benefit from a sleeker experience based on improved reconnections, audio, and notifications. If you try to connect to a V16 instance, you will be presented with an error message with more information about v18.
Answer Business WhatsApp from 3CX App
Update 5 includes an overhaul of the way messaging works, offering a renewed and simplified SMS/MMS function and the introduction of WhatsApp integration. It’s now possible for entire teams to respond to incoming WhatsApp messages, from the Web Client or Android App.
