Try 3CX on the latest Google Pixel 8

Latest Android Beta now supports Android 14

The new Google Pixel 8 comes with Android 14, so why not try out the latest, fully compatible 3CX Beta app. With the release of Android 14, 3CX Android client has made improvements in Telecom API that offers an even more seamless and reliable communication experience. Devices running Android 8 to 13 can still try the new Beta version of the app.

Note: A new permission for full screen notifications was introduced in Android Version 14. New installs of the app must enable this permission to be able to answer calls from the lock screen, without the need to unlock the phone. Just follow the wizard to enable this permission. Existing users updating from the previous build of our client should have this permission enabled by default.

Handling of multiple incoming calls

We have made improvements in the handling of an incoming 3CX call whilst currently on a GSM call. Prior to this fix, the call was accepted and the ringtone was played to notify the user of this call. We have taken your feedback into consideration and made improvements in this area. Any incoming call following your current connected call will be notified to the user in a more subtle beeping sound.

Other features / fixes

Further improvements were made in the voicemails and recents screen of our app to offer a better and faster user experience.
