We’re releasing RC3 to address the last minor fixes and improvements before Update 8 Final.
Fixes & Improvements
- Gateway Service Loop Detection: Fixed an issue where the Gateway Service could enter a loop during disconnection/reconnection scenarios, causing high CPU usage.
- Hot Desking Phonebook: Resolved an issue where Hot Desking failed to retrieve the department phonebook due to an unhandled exception.
- Call Barge-In Audio: Fixed an audio issue when barging into a call with stereo mode enabled while using Opus or PCMU codecs.
- Gemini Model Update: Updated Gemini model handling by retiring gemini-2.0-flash-lite. After updating, the PBX will automatically use gemini-2.5-flash-lite.

To try out these new features, upgrade to V20 Update 8 RC3.
- Log in to the Admin Console
- Navigate to System > Updates
- Select Update 8 RC3 and click Download
