Fanvil phones x3s and x5 2.10 firmware bug

Dear Team and Members

I have found a bug in Fanvil x3s and x5 firmware.
I have a few problems with transferred calls.
Unattended transfers work just fine.
but on Attended transfer, after the transfer is completed, the final destination (call receiver) can not hear the original caller.

I have tried all firmwares available and found that only 2.3.2 is working fine, but it is very old and no longer supported by 3CX and not available for download from Fanvil or 3CX.

I am using Fanvil x3 and x5 phones on v16 3cx Pro in Amazon Lightsail via SBC on Windows.

It would be really great if this can be fixed.

So it's only a bug if you are doing everything the 3CX way. That means:

• 3CX Supported SIP Trunk Provider
• 3CX Passes firewall test
• 3CX Template
• 3CX Supported firmware

Be sure you meet all those requirements. That being said there are several threads regarding issues with recent Fanvil firmwares.

Yes i do it 3cx way

1. 3cx passes firewall test
2. I use 3cx template
3. I use supported 3cx firmware,

obviously, because it did not work i switched to old 2.3.2 unsupported firmware. And now it works fine.
I could not find any threads regarding Fanvil recent firmware that addresses that particular issue.

I'll see about testing that tomorrow. I have a couple Fanvil phones in the recycle pile I can dig out. I didn't pay much attention to the threads so I'm not sure about your specific issue, just that there were numerous issues. It looks like 3CX pushed out a new template that may have resolved some of them.

The problem is also that other recent (but not newest firmware) is not working. I have attached the one and only i have found to work (i had ti originally since 2018)

Can i report this buug to 3CX somehow or this is not confirmed? should I take a video or smth else?

This bug (no audio on attended transfer) is now fixed with latest firmware for x3 (2.10.0.6646)
