Easily monitor all call activity and manage voicemail greetings directly from the softphone.
A new Beta update is available for the 3CX Softphone for Windows. Version 5.2 introduces new call visibility options and the ability to manage voicemail greetings from the app. Here’s what’s included.
View All Calls in One Place
A new dropdown has been added under “All Calls” to give users visibility over all calls in the system, including queue calls. It also shows a list of extensions with their queue status.
- View queue and non-queue calls simultaneously
- Monitor extension status in real-time
- Receptionist can drag and drop calls to team extensions
Configure Voicemail Greetings from the Softphone
You can now upload or record voicemail greetings directly from the softphone. No need to use the management console or dial-in menus.
To set or manage greetings:
- Click on your avatar (top left) > Configure > Greetings
- Upload a WAV file
- Record from your softphone (microphone icon)
- Record from your IP phone (deskphone icon)
- Delete, download, or revert to default
