Option 2: Upgrade to a 4SC PRO & Stay on V18

Upgrading to 3CX PRO and remaining on V18 depends on whether or not you are assigned to a 3CX Partner.

No installation or configuration support is included in the price. IT & Networking knowledge is required.

Before you buy a commercial license, make sure you explore the option of 3CX SMB as this is ideal for small businesses with few users, and it’s still free. Some IT and networking knowledge is required, 3CX offers no support for SMB users.

Option 3: Switch to 3CX SMB - Perfect for Small Businesses

If you are running 3CX for up to 10 users without any internal IT knowledge or any interest in working with a 3CX Partner you should switch to 3CX SMB - for free.

If you have a micro-installation (2-3 users) you might even consider bundled telephony solutions, which 3CX does not offer. These bundles may be included in your office package and include telephony, SIP Trunks and so on, e.g. Teams.

3CX is designed to cater for larger businesses who have the internal knowledge to run and manage the system themselves or use an IT provider. If this is not the case for you then switch to SMB or find a solution which better suits your needs.
