The official release of the 3CX Android App is now available to download via the Google Play Store. Upgrading your PBX to version 18 offers a better user experience on your Android device, as well as accessing new features such as notification shortcuts.

After the app update, any users still connected to a PBX running V16 will be notified to update it to version 18. V18 includes improvements to call reconnection, notifications and audio quality.

Now you can use the notification center to fast-reply to 3CX chat messages. What’s more, marking chat messages as ‘read’ will immediately update the sender that the message has been received. If these quick actions are not required, the notification can also be tapped once to open the 3CX app.
