A new update for the 3CX Android App is available for download on the Google Play Store. Continuous registration has been added along with improvements on image sending via different messaging facilities.
Keep on top of calls
“Keep Active” functionality has been introduced providing the option to stay registered so that a call will never be missed.
Images always delivered
Following the release of V18 Update 1, automatic image compression has been incorporated. Any images sent via SMS, MMS and Facebook Messenger will be compressed for the images to be successfully received by the recipient.
Easy creation of audio/video conferences
The Android App now fully supports the creation of 3CX audio and video conferences, making scheduling on the go, quick and easy.
Unsupported Android devices
To keep our applications compatible, devices using Android 7.1 and below will no longer receive updates including new features, bug fixes and security patches.
Other fixes and improvements
- The swipe menu has been disabled during a call
- Improved handling of participants in audio/video conferences
