Following a successful beta release, 3CX Android App V5.5 is now available for production.
This version brings platform optimizations, improved contact handling and a range of usability, security and stability fixes across calling and the user interface.

Contact Handling Improvements
Contact management and matching behavior have been improved, including:
- Correct display of device contact avatars
- Improved matching for LiveChat calls and chats
- Fixed issues with missing contact names during SMS contact creation
- CRM contacts now show initials instead of placeholder avatars
- Improved behavior when saving numbers from SMS
Call Handling & UI Enhancements
Usability and interface improvements include:
- Resolved flickering when switching between calls
- More consistent call editing before dialing
- Improved recents scrolling and search behavior
- Updated UI elements for better consistency
- Improved search for names with diacritics
- Enhanced security checks when the device is locked/pin protected
