Android 18.1.5 Beta is entering the final stages before a production release. Based upon your feedback following the Android BETA release a few days ago we’ve done more testing and followed through with a good number of fixes as a result. This final update before official release is now available from the Google Play store.
Polishing up
We’ve performed some final fixes for this latest update. You can find them listed below:
- The Microphone Gain percentage has been set to a default of 100%. Microphones in new smartphones have improved in such a way that we no longer need such high defaults. Note that this change will only take place for fresh installs of the app. Updating to this new version will not change this setting.
- More Telecom API improvements were added to stabilize bluetooth connectivity with headsets and car bluetooth.
- The Scan QR code screen on first launch of the app has been updated to reflect the latest provisioning method changes present in Update 8.
