A new update for the 3CX client for Android is available. In this update we’ve mostly focused on making the app’s PUSH notifications appear faster with the use of FCM (Firebase Cloud Messaging) by Google. FCM is more stable and reliable than its predecessor, GCM. So now our users can enjoy faster notifications from the VoIP client when an incoming call occurs. In addition, we’ve also made many improvements which aim at increasing the ease of use of the client.
Some fixes and improvements:
- Fixed the ability to open welcome email provisioning files for most devices.
- Minor UI improvements related to single and double tapping.
- Minor fixes in audio routing and device switching timing.
- Fixed an issue where it was sometimes possible to open multiple “Add Contact” dialogs.
- Improved app logging.
