TestFlight members can now access the new Beta release of our iOS app. It brings improvements to messaging allowing WhatsApp messages to be replied to and fixes issues with iOS16 devices. The 3CX iOS App will no longer work with 3CX Version 16!
V16 instances no longer supported
As reported back in May 2022, we are now stopping support for Apps running on version 16 instances. When trying to connect to a V16 instance, the App now displays a notification message stating that the instance must be updated to V18. Version 18 has been out for over a year now and provides a greatly improved mobile experience including reconnection attempts, clearer audio, and better call notifications. Update today!
Messaging revamp extended to mobile app
With the imminent full release of v18 Update 5, messaging has seen a complete overhaul to improve functionality and add features. The SMS/MMS integration function is now simplified and greatly improved. And we’ve added a 5th channel of communication to your 3CX - WhatsApp! Read more about the release of WhatsApp integration.
iOS16 support
iOS16 is not more than 3 days old and the 3CX iOS is already good to go. This Beta release addresses a bug that caused an echo when using the speakerphone.
