Get Siri to call out using 3CX, all you need to do is ensure your device has Siri enabled and install the 3CX app with an active account. Ask Siri to call out using a phone number or a name and the 3CX app will be launched to make the call. If there are several people with the same name, Siri will prompt you to choose the number you want to call. You can also launch the 3CX app at any time by saying: “Siri, open 3CX”.

Scheduling video conferences

Scheduling video conferences on the fly is easy. Video can be toggled on and off depending on user requirements and once the call is scheduled, the entry can be automatically added to your calendar. To join a scheduled meeting, press the ‘Join’ button to trigger the 3CX Video Conference app to open. If not already downloaded, you will automatically be redirected to the AppStore to download the application.

Chat improvements for data sharing and control

The 3CX app is now listed in the “Share to” menu of any application that supports sharing. This allows you to quickly send text, links, map locations, screenshots, photos to the 3CX App’s chat.

We’ve made it easier to manage phone numbers sent in chat messages. Appearing as hyperlinks, all you need to do is tap on the number for options to call, send an SMS, add to contacts or simply copy the number.

Other fixes and improvements

  • Codec management - auto select codec depending on network (WiFi/Cellular)
  • Fast reconnection when network drops or change
  • Fixed device contacts matching for phone numbers starting with “+”
