The 3CX Management Console should allow more granular delegation rights to avoid to give "General System Administration" rights to manage for example Digital Receptionist, Ring Groups and Call Queues by a first level support team, like a Service Desk.

We really need this.
A client with multiple locations and multiple admins (managers manage call flows for their location) had someone change the global schedule which effected other locations over this past holiday weekend. However, there is no record of who did it or anything we can do to prevent it in the future.
An educational email was sent to the appropriate parties but it would be much better if we could allow managers to access appropriate Digital Receptionist without having access to system level settings.

+1 This has been an issue for me for years. Customer wants access, its either all or just managing extensions.

Any feedback on this? It's an absolute must for us, we need to be able to give access to change call queues without having access to other settings.

Plus 1 on this. Essential Tool for delegating system responsibilities for clients

Unfortunately, it's all or nothing right now. :(

+1!!!

This is needed very much. In our call center environments skill based routing skill change for agents by a queue manager or a call center supervisor is a must.

We have several call centers and queue manages some times want to change agent skill on the go.
I can only do it with full admin access to management console. And assigning admin rights to a non-technical person is a very-very-very bad idea. Specially if a person is unreliable or is know to make changes and not notifying other staff....

This is actually a huge reason to give up using 3CX for us.

This is also the case for the majority of our clients.
Maybe is a user is made a Queue Manager, they could make these changes via the Webclient (add/Remove Extensions, Adjust Queue Settings etc)

+1 if Call Log can be removed from General Administration Settings, it would allow regular staffs to be able to do a quick search for all customer contacts, thanks

This definitely needs to be implemented. There should be a granular approach to permissions for management console access. I would love if our customers have the right to modify extensions but not the right to create them. Allow access to certain sections such as ring groups, queues and MOH. Most of all to remove the ability to update without express permissions. We've had a client update to an alpha version before and really put themselves in a tight spot because of a loss of features and functionality that wasn't available in the alpha version yet, and the introduction of bugs that weren't quite fixed yet.

+1

For Hosting providers we need this!!!!

We give clients admin access, but we need to be able to do the following.

  1. Ability to dis-allow access to the license details/section as we retain these.
  2. Ability to dis-allow access to backup/restore, as we manage this for them, and we do not want them to backup and be able to restore our license elsewhere.

Showing the status green on the dashboard for both is ok, but do not allow them to see or alter the details of these, this is what we need, 2 checkboxes on the rights page in extensions, so simple.

Been looking for this for a while - letting customers manage their own holidays and put them into place without exposing the full management console would be a big win.
