Is there a scheduled timeline for an app similar to the V18 "Electron" App?
Which includes features such as hotkeys, CTI, the ability to be deployed as an MSI, and possibly even TAPI support. This is urgently needed by many customers.

TAPI should work. Didn't test it but I think I read it.

These are very important settings in some cases,and every pbx should be able to edit this easily.

You can export it, change the settings in the config file and import it again.
It should be a 'configure once per provider'-thing, no?

Hey @Nick Galea, I was reviewing the "swagger.yaml" from the XAPI URL (https://FQDN/xapi/v1/swagger.yaml), and I couldn't find the 3CX XAPI version number in it. I believe it would be beneficial if this information could be included for us API GEEKS.

We have > 200 Users and they are not allowed to have the Webclient passwords.

Also how about the Chat. Is that also included in the new Windows store app?

The Store app is mostly just a phone. It opens the web client for chat, and several other things.

I believe there’s a parameter to include the provisioning file in the welcome email again; search here for that.

Yes this works. But by easily I meant via the WebUI. Sometimes you have to try a bit with these settings..
Why take away functions which were available. 3cx could maybe be re-add it, the settungs are available it just needs to be added to the UI. I know there are a lot of partners out there who use their own trunks.
We try to use only supported trunks but there are customers who want to stay with their none-supported trunk (for Individual reasons, which we never like but sonetimes we have to accept it) and before they don't get a 3cx from us we try to implement it anyways. In my opinion it cannot be a disadvantage, but makes things easier.

I think you can provision the the new app by MAC address which I find a very interesting option. At least it was announced or mentioned by nick in earlier v20 blog post. Does someone have more information about this?

I guess you are talking about IP phones. That is possible to provision with only a MAC address. AFAIK not a softphone.

thanks for that info. But to be clear, the enduser has to have opened 2 softphones at the same time? The Appstore one for telephony and the Webapp one for the chat? So means that by an icoming call both of them will ringing? I think that would be confusing.

Yes i find the provisioning file but the problem is you cannot start a Windows Store app easily by command line. You get an access denied. Maybe there is another way to start and provisioning the store app for bulk?

The web client has a choice to turn off ringing. I’m not by a PC but it’s on the far upper right menu where you would Exit to sign out.

4- When we close the soft-phone app in windows, we don't get notifications, should it be always opened?

Hi,
the pwr app still shows the incoming call and also a missed call.
Using pwr App alone is only possible if you have no tapi device or Datev etc. Is that the case you have to use 2 Apps at the same time one for telephone + one for chat.
So that is confusing for the user.
