The 3CX Management Console should allow more granular delegation rights to avoid to give "General System Administration" rights to manage for example Digital Receptionist, Ring Groups and Call Queues by a first level support team, like a Service Desk.

+1 Makes it easier when someone leaves who has remote access.

+1, please make these changes. The ability to choose granular access to specific functions is crucial.

+1, an essential feature particularly where more and more systems are being deployed as hosted solutions for multi-site, multi-support agent environments.

Yes we agree we need more granularity... it will be taken into consideration

It is required to have more awareness about the particular needs of the client. In this case, management aspects are considered, with dispersed locations, where delegated administrators are undoubtedly required, who are limited in their functions dependent on a single account. Making an analogy if the term is legal, it is like having an active directory, with a single administrator, that has legacy administrators, that can create users, but can not assign them to security groups or organizational units ... It is an observation for improve ... The product is very good, it has a lot of potential, but in some aspects it loses the simplicity that characterizes it in other of its functionalities.

We ran into a situation where a customer wanted to be able to change names and email addresses on extensions. We bill per extension. They have now figured out that if they add an extension themselves they can sometimes get a month or two of service for free since we have no way in the logs to see when it was added to the system. Being able to give them editing rights but not the ability to add new extensions would be very helpful.

+1 but I the way 3CX web client is going I'd probably like to be able to provide more control via the web client or at least a link to management console to users with elevate permission so their default login is webclient (keeps them getting used to it

+1 Very good idea
