With a successful iOS BETA 2 release, we’re moving forward with BETA 3 of the 3CX iOS App. The final release is coming up next! Here’s a quick look at what’s included.
Boss-Secretary Support
Following the release of Version 20 Update 8 Beta, the iOS app now includes support for the new Boss-Secretary feature.
Once a user is configured with the required permissions in the Admin Console, an option in the hamburger menu appears. From there, you can easily toggle the feature on or off whenever needed. This gives teams a more controlled and streamlined way to manage incoming calls, especially in busy office environments.
Note: Boss-Secretary support requires the upcoming Version 20 Update 8 Beta 2.

Compatibility Notice
This Beta release is no longer compatible with 3CX Version 18. Systems still running V18 will not be able to connect to the new iOS client. Please refer to our V18 End of Support announcement for full details.
Other Fixes
Alongside the new Boss-Secretary support, this update also includes several improvements and bug fixes.
- Client now accepts shared text files
- Status bubble is now seen in chat lists for participants without a name
- Fixes to the Call Forwarding screen
- Added support for sharing log reports using the iOS native Share UI
