Final stability improvements for production release.

Following the updates delivered in earlier betas, iOS App V5.4 is now officially released for production use. This build resolves issues identified during previous testing, improving overall reliability and user experience. Read on to learn more.

Recap of Features Introduced in iOS App V5.4

Across the first three beta releases, iOS App V5.4 introduced enhancements to conferencing, call screening and call handling.

Conferencing, Apple Watch & Department Phonebook

Introduced in Beta 1, new Consultative and Direct Conference modes, allowing users to either instantly create a conference call or speak privately with a second participant before merging calls.

The release also added Apple Watch notifications, enabling users to receive incoming and missed call alerts, as well as reply to chat messages directly from the watch.

In addition, a Department Phonebook was introduced, allowing contacts to be shared within departments or companies when using Multi Company Mode. Version 20 Update 8 or later is required for this feature.

AI Call Screening & Shared Voicemail

AI Call Screening & Shared Voicemail

With Beta 2, the iOS App gained AI Call Screening, bringing AI Receptionist call summaries to the mobile client so users can see who is calling and why before answering. Due to current CallKit limitations, this information is displayed within the app itself.

The same release also added shared voicemail support for Queues and Ring Groups, allowing agents to view voicemail details and avoid multiple agents responding to the same message.

Boss-Secretary Support

Boss-Secretary Support

Beta 3 added support for the Boss-Secretary feature. Users configured with the appropriate permissions can enable or disable this feature directly in the app’s hamburger menu, providing better control over incoming calls in busy environments.

Fixes in Final Release

  • The Boss-Secretary option has been moved to the hamburger menu
  • When MCM mode is enabled, the Department checkbox is now visible when adding a contact
  • The chat participant call button now correctly reverts to the local extension when “Receive information” for presence is unchecked
  • Fixed an issue where an incorrect translation key was used for “Join” in German
  • Addressed several app crashes
  • Resolved client-side issues related to excessive requests
