    Hello,

Just wondering when 3CX will be available for Linux version.

    Thanks

  • Nick Galea says:

    No, you need v9

  • We had another great week of working with 3CX Ver. 9 Beta 2. One very cool feature that we used extensively was forwarding options including “Rebound.” This is the ability to have a phone (virtual or desk) utilize several new forwarding schemes and include an announcement of who is calling as well as playing the caller ID then transferring the call if it is accepted by the end user.

In the new scenario when the system sends a call to your mobile phone, using the new forwarding options, the system prompts the caller to say their name. When you answer the call on your cell phone (or any phone), it plays the recording, then tells you the caller ID info.

    Way to go 3CX team!

  • Trimline says:

Been running V9.13 for a few days. I’m a small home office with the need for something easy to manage (only 5 VoIP providers). One thing I noted in my trial:

    1. Can’t get the system to connect to BlueSip.net (German DID).
    2. I have Panasonic KX-TGP550T04; which do work, but throw errors in to the log. Appears not to be hardware defined.
    3. Couldn’t change the per minute charges on reporting. My costs are .015 per minute, yet couldn’t change that anywhere via the GUI.
    4. A way to force G722 as the first codec (without this, my calls are a bit garbled)

    Things I *really* like:

    1. Voice mail per line
    2. Office hours per line
    3. Easy setup.

I will definitely install and test the next release and purchase the GA when available.

    Great work.. Cheers to all.

  • Nicky says:

    @Trimline
    1. If you use the generic template make sure you use the one according to the type of provider: generic sip Trunk or generic voip provider
    2. unsupported device.
    3. you can change this by going to View Billing information in the management console. TotalCost = Talking time * rate Check for more info in the blog
    4. set all your extensions to use this codec first and make sure that in the 3CX Management console, all extensions are with re-invites and replaces ON only.
