Installing 3CX Phone System 12 Service Pack 2

Access the 3CX Management Console, click on 3CX Service Packs / Updates and download SP2. If you don’t see any new available updates, it’s because you’re running an older version of 3CX Phone System. We advise you backup 3CX Phone System, uninstall your current version and download and install the latest version. Once the installation has finished, restore your backup. I’m currently looking to test the upgrade path using a VM.
Do I have to install all the service packs for version 10 and 11 as I go along or do the downloads include all the latest SP’s?

    • HI Prasadh
It is compatible yes – We run on ios7 on all devices.
Did you press ALLOW when IOS asked you to give 3CXPhone permission to use the microphone or audio devices?

Whenever I try to do a backup of V10 with the call history selected it just seems to hang and doesn’t complete.
This happens when running it through the 3CXBackup.exe or when running it through a .bat file.

I’ve let it run over a whole weekend before and the file was no bigger on the Monday when I checked it last thing on the Friday.
However when call history isn’t checked the backup runs fine.

Could it be that the call history itself is just very large?
Is there another way to backup this information?

Hi We recently upgraded from version 11 to version 12, and now my digital receptionist is giving me errors. I can not use hunt groups or receive/access voicemail. I get a response “This call could not be completed, please try again later, we apologize.” Version 11 worked great without any hiccups.
